In practical applications, oil-absorbing nonwoven materials can be made into oil-absorbent mats, rolls, pillows or booms, widely used in emergency treatment of marine oil spills, pretreatment of oily wastewater in factories, ground maintenance of machining workshops and floating oil recovery after catering fume purification. After use, the products can be treated by extrusion or incineration, facilitating resource utilization or harmless disposal.
